The Control Box, Contains a latching 3 x 60A Contactor that is used to switch the active and neutral of the MOT supply. There is a remote jack to allow the connection of a remote kill switch. There is a timer circuit and relay in the box that is used to switch in the phase shift inductor once the motor has fully spun up. This allows the phase shift setting to be set and left. There are various lights showing which parts of the circuit are active.
Home Made Current Transformer. Designed to be mounted inside the control panel and allows measurement of 0 - 100A AC. The meter is a 0-10A DC Moving coil meter, the current transformer is set up to step the current down by a factor of 10x the diode bridge then converted the AC into full wave rectified DC which is then read out on the meter.
